The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support and assistance to employees across the business, ensuring the effective operation, maintenance and administration of the company's IT systems, hardware and software.

The position will primarily focus on Level 1 / 2 support, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining company devices, administering user accounts and assisting with the management of the organisation's IT infrastructure.

The successful applicant will be a motivated and technically minded individual with a strong willingness to learn, develop their IT knowledge and provide reliable technical support to employees across both office and site-based operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets and support requests via in-person, phone, and remote
2. Diagnose and document technical issues, solutions, and configurations in the knowledge base
3. Set up, configure, and maintain computers, printers, iPads, and other peripherals
4.



Manage asset inventory and track equipment lifecycle
5. Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications
6. Manage and track software licenses
7. Deploy and manage devices using MDM platforms (e.g. Microsoft Intune)
8. Troubleshoot network issues including Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, and remote access problems
9. Maintain accurate records of incidents, changes, and system configurations
10. Liaise with third-party vendors for hardware, software, and license procurement
