The role

We're looking for a hands-on, customer-focused IT Technician to join our Field Services team in Cheltenham. You'll be our face on site, supporting staff and students across classrooms, offices and shared spaces - often when a lesson is waiting on you.

You'll be:

- Supporting laptops, desktops and tablets
- Keeping classroom tech running, including projectors, AV and interactive displays
- Troubleshooting network and connectivity issues
- Resolving incidents and service requests on site
- Keeping teachers and admin staff in the loop on incidents, changes and planned outages
- Working with our service desk and escalation teams
- Documenting site equipment and processes

About you





You're a capable technician who's comfortable in front of customers. You can explain a technical problem in plain English to people who've never worked in a corporate IT environment, and you care about good documentation.

You'll bring:

- 12 months in a similar role, ideally in managed services
- Windows 11 and Apple (macOS, iOS) experience
- Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy knowledge
- Microsoft 365 experience: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
- Basic network support skills: WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls and security
- Solid written and verbal communication

Bonus points for:

- ITIL and customer service fundamentals
- ConnectWise Manage or similar PSA tools
- MDM experience, especially JAMF and Intune
