? Lead, Bridges & Structures? Brisbane The prospect

Want to build something from the ground up? Our client is a global engineering business, and it's growing its Transport Infrastructure team in Australia. They need an experienced bridges leader to set up and grow the Bridges and Structures discipline in Brisbane.

You'll report to the Transport Business Lead and have a real say in strategy, bids, client relationships and how the team is built. The role is set up to grow into team leadership as the Brisbane business expands.

What you'll do

- Build strong client relationships across QLD transport infrastructure

✅ Support bids, tenders and growth opportunities

- Provide technical leadership and oversight of project delivery

✅ Drive quality and consistency across the discipline

- Mentor engineers and grow the team over time

✅ Work on major QLD transport programs and future infrastructure investment

What you'll bring





- Extensive experience leading bridge and structural projects in a consulting environment
- A track record of delivering design projects and owning the outcomes

- Strong technical depth in bridges and structures

- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical teams

- Solid knowledge of QLD transport infrastructure, especially TMR standards

- Bachelor of Civil Engineering and RPEQ

- Clear communication and good commercial sense

Highly regarded

- Project management experience

- Established industry networks across the QLD transport market
