We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join our Fabrication Team in Bassendean, WA. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to a team of tradespeople and operators, ensuring production activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced boilermaker, fabricator, maintenance professional, or production leader looking to take the next step in their career within a stable and well-established manufacturing environment.

In this role you will:

- Lead and coordinate daily fabrication activities to achieve production and operational targets.

- Support production planning and workflow management to ensure productive utilisation of resources.

- Drive a strong safety culture by promoting safe work practices and compliance with site procedures.

- Monitor and maintain quality standards across fabrication and manufacturing processes.

- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance capability, engagement, and performance.

- Collaborate with planning, maintenance, and operational teams to optimise workflow and productivity.

- Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to the team where required.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and operational performance.

You will have:

- A trade qualification in Boilermaking, Fabrication, or a related discipline.

- Demonstrated experience in a Leading Hand, Supervisor, Crew Leader,



or senior tradesperson role.

- Strong technical knowledge of fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes.

- Experience within mining, heavy fabrication, fixed plant maintenance, or industrial manufacturing environments.

- Proven ability to coordinate production activities and manage competing priorities.

- A strong commitment to safety leadership and quality outcomes.

- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

- A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to lead by example.
