About Atomic Projects
Atomic Projects is a Sydney remedial builder. We fix and upgrade existing apartment buildings (Class 2 strata) on projects from $500k to $2M. We do the work with our own crews and real systems, and we don't take shortcuts. Learn more at atomicprojects.com.au.
What is remedial work?
Remedial building means fixing defects and wear in buildings people already live in. Our day-to-day work includes:
- Waterproofing: balconies, podiums, planter boxes, roofs and wet areas, including flood testing before handover
- Concrete repair: concrete cancer, spalling, crack injection and reinforcement treatment
- Facade work: render and cladding repairs, sealants, brick and masonry repairs, repainting
- Fire safety upgrades: fire doors, penetration sealing and compliance works
- Capital works: balustrade replacement, balcony upgrades and common-area works
Most of our sites are occupied. Residents are living there while we work, so tidy sites, clear communication and respect for people's homes matter as much as the trade work.
