We are seeking an experienced Licensed Plumber to join our established dewatering team at a major gold mining operation in WA's Northern Goldfields.

This is a long-term FIFO prospect offering a diverse range of work across dewatering infrastructure, camp facilities, water treatment and essential site services.

The Role

Working as part of the site's dewatering team, you will support the operation, maintenance and reliability of critical water infrastructure and non-process infrastructure (NPI).

The site includes a large accommodation village of approximately 2,000 rooms, along with extensive water supply, wastewater treatment and pumping infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

- Dewatering Infrastructure: Assisting with maintenance, repairs and fault-finding across pumps, pipelines, valves and water transfer systems.

- Camp Plumbing: Maintaining hot water systems, amenities, commercial kitchens, fixtures and general plumbing infrastructure.

- Water Treatment: Operating and maintaining reverse osmosis (RO) plants, filtration systems, membranes and chemical dosing equipment.

- Wastewater Treatment: Supporting WWTP operations, water testing, sewer infrastructure and spray field maintenance.

- Bore Fields: Maintaining bore pumps, pipework and raw water supply systems.

- Pump Stations: Servicing sewer pits, pump stations,



backflow prevention devices and associated infrastructure.

- Gas Systems: Gas maintenance, inspections and fault-finding within licence scope.

- Preventative Maintenance: Completing scheduled inspections, servicing, breakdown repairs and maintenance reporting.

- Site Support: Assisting the broader dewatering team with operational requirements and emergency call-outs as needed.

About You

Essential:

- Current WA Plumbing Licence

- Experience in industrial, mining or remote site plumbing maintenance

- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Strong commitment to workplace safety

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

Highly Regarded:

- WA Gasfitting Licence – Class G

- Mine site dewatering or pumping experience

- RO plant and wastewater treatment experience

- Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets

- HR Driver's Licence

- Excavator, telehandler or poly welding experience
