The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Maintenance Manager to lead our established maintenance team of 14 employees.

Reporting to the General Manager Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities across our diverse manufacturing operations, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency and a solid commitment to safety.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, building high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.

With our new solvent extraction plant providing additional capability and complexity to our operations, you will have the opportunity to work with current equipment and technology,



influence maintenance strategies and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team, fostering a positive, accountable and collaborative culture.
- Oversee preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance across our manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies that improve plant reliability, minimise downtime and support production objectives.
- Play a key role in integrating the new solvent extraction plant into ongoing maintenance operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and equipment performance.
- Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, budgets, contractors and resources.
- Build strong working relationships across operations, production and other business functions.
- Champion a proactive approach to workplace safety, quality and compliance.

About You We are looking for a capable and approachable leader who combines strong technical knowledge with genuine people management skills.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Proven experience leading and developing maintenance teams within a manufacturing, industrial or production environment.
- A relevant electrical or mechanical trade qualification.




- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and support employees at all levels.
- Experience in preventative maintenance, asset reliability and continuous improvement.
- Sound planning, organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with computerised maintenance management systems.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to maintaining a safe, productive workplace.
