SIS is a specialist OT / industrial cyber security consultancy. OT is all we do, for critical infrastructure and industrial organisations across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. We’re strengthening our Perth presence and need a senior practitioner to lead delivery here.

Who this role is for

This is an OT role first. You’ve spent a significant part of your career delivering security in control system environments: on site, working alongside engineers and operators, and accountable for the outcome. If your OT experience has mainly been oversight within a broader IT or enterprise cyber role, this won’t be the right fit.

What you’ll do

- Own delivery of complex OT / ICS cyber security engagements to time, cost and quality
- Lead work across FEED, GRC, threat and risk assessments (including penetration testing), security architecture and design, implementation, OT-SOC and training
- Advise senior client stakeholders across engineering, operations, cyber and executive leadership
- Provide technical leadership and peer review to SIS quality and assurance standards
- Mentor consultants and contribute to competency assessment and team capability
- Improve how we work, including practical use of recent tools and AI





What you’ll bring

- Hands-on experience securing control systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC or similar) in operating industrial environments; utility experience highly regarded
- Practical experience testing field devices and industrial control components (penetration testing or vulnerability assessment), and the ability to lead that work
- An engineering qualification or equivalent technical background
- A track record leading complex OT security consulting engagements with autonomy, including owning the client relationship and commercial outcomes
- Credibility with engineering, operations, cyber and executive audiences
- IEC 62443 and/or GICSP highly regarded; OSCP, CISSP or equivalent also considered
- Practical use of AI and technology to deliver quality work more efficiently
- Asset owner or operator experience is a plus
