About the role

As our Marketing & Communications Officer, you'll play an integral role in shaping how Glenelg Golf Club is presented, experienced and celebrated.

Working across a diverse range of marketing and communications activities, you'll have the opportunity to combine your creative skills with strategic thinking to strengthen our brand, engage our Members and promote the Club to wider audiences.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Content creation: Develop compelling written, photographic and video content that showcases the Club, its people, facilities and experiences.

- Social media & digital marketing:



Manage and grow our digital presence across social media, website and email communications, creating content that drives meaningful engagement.

- Photography & videography: Capture and produce high-quality visual content, from stunning course imagery to Member events, competitions and promotional campaigns.

- Brand & communications: Deliver engaging and consistent communications that strengthen the Club's identity and keep our Members informed and connected.

- Campaigns & events: Develop creative marketing initiatives to promote golf, hospitality, corporate functions, weddings and major Club events.

- Marketing performance: Monitor digital engagement and campaign performance, identifying opportunities to continuously improve our marketing activities.

- Strategy & innovation: Contribute fresh ideas and creative approaches that support the Club's broader marketing objectives.

- Participate as an office team member, assisting in administrative duties as required.

About you

We're looking for someone who is creative, motivated and confident bringing new ideas to the table.

You'll be a strong communicator with an eye for detail, a passion for producing quality content and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Experience or relevant qualifications in marketing, communications, digital media or a related field.

- Strong photography, videography and content production skills.





- Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.

- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or similar creative software.

- Experience with website content management and email marketing platforms.

- Strong organisational skills, initiative and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- An interest in sport, hospitality and events.

- Working with children check (required)

An understanding of golf is advantageous, but certainly not essential. We're particularly interested in finding someone with the right creativity, attitude and enthusiasm.

Some flexibility is required to capture occasional Club events and activities outside standard business hours, including weekends.
