Lee's Transport is a proudly family-owned and operated transport company based in Naval Base, Western Australia. We specialise in general freight and heavy haulage, operating a fleet of predominantly Kenworth and Mack trucks throughout Western Australia.

We're looking for experienced and reliable Multi-Combination (MC) Road Train Drivers to join our growing team. If you're a capable, hands-on driver who takes pride in their equipment, knows how to safely secure a load and enjoys variety in their work, we'd like to hear from you!

The Role

This isn't a job where you'll be running the same route carrying the same freight every day. Our work is varied, transporting everything from general freight through to oversized machinery and heavy haulage loads.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Operating MC road train combinations throughout regional and remote Western Australia.
- Transporting general freight, machinery, equipment and heavy haulage loads.
- Operating low loaders and 50-tonne floats for the transport of heavy machinery and equipment, where experienced.
- Loading, securing and restraining freight in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Completing pre-start checks and ensuring vehicles are maintained to a safe operating standard.
- Completing required paperwork, timesheets and transport documentation.
- Working with our operations team to coordinate deliveries and meet customer requirements.
- Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site personnel.
- Taking pride in your truck, equipment and the work you do.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have:

- Current unrestricted MC driver's licence.
- Proven experience operating multi-combination road trains.




- Experience transporting general freight, machinery and heavy haulage loads.
- Experience operating 50-tonne floats and transporting heavy machinery (highly regarded but not essential).
- Strong knowledge of load restraint requirements and safe loading practices.
- Experience with oversized and over-dimensional loads (highly regarded).
- Good understanding of fatigue management and heavy vehicle regulations.
- Experience driving on regional and remote roads, including unsealed roads.
- The ability to work independently and use initiative.
- A practical, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work away from home and undertake weekend work when required.
- A commitment to safety and looking after company equipment.
