Roadwest Transport Equipment & Sales (RWT) is an established Western Australian manufacturer specialising in the design and manufacture of heavy-duty transport equipment, including semi-trailers, side tippers, converter dollies and custom-built transport solutions.
We are seeking Engineering student that is graduating end of this year to join our Engineering team.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated university student currently studying Mechanical Engineering who is looking to build a career in trailer design and fabrication.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our engineering team and gain hands-on experience in the design and manufacturing of transport equipment, working alongside experienced engineers and industry professionals.
Key Requirements
- Currently studying Mechanical Engineering at university thats graduating end of the year.
- Solid working experience.
- Strong interest in mechanical design, trailer manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop practical engineering skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication, welding and sheet metal manufacturing.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
