Our client is a Western Australian manufacturer of self-bunded fuel storage tanks and integrated refueling, supplying mining, civil construction, transport, agriculture and infrastructure customers across the state. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their manufacturing team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Mechanical assembly and fitting of self-bunded fuel tanks and refueling facilities
- Installing pumps, motors, gearboxes, pipework, valves, flanges and dispensing equipment
- Working from engineering and fabrication drawings to required tolerances
- Assembling hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Assisting with pressure testing, leak testing and functional testing
- Completing inspection checklists and production documentation

What We’re Looking For
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III in Engineering, Mechanical Trade, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical assembly and fitting skills, with the ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience installing pumps, motors, pipework and valves
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a production team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Work is located in North Perth
