About the Role:
This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing the inspection, repair, and overhaul of rotating equipment. You’ll lead a skilled team, ensure safe and efficient operations, and play a key role in mentoring, scheduling, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise workshop personnel and daily operations.
- Inspect, repair, and overhaul HV/MV/LV motors, generators and rotating equipment.
- Lead and mentor departmental staff, fostering a culture of safety and performance.
- Manage job scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
- 5 years’ experience with overhaul and rewind of large electric motors (essential)
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and high-level problem-solving abilities.
