Western Radiology is seeking multiple Medical Receptionists to join our team across our Perth network, including Cockburn Central, Canning Vale, Morley, Madeley and Clarkson. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients attending our clinics and will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, can confidently manage multiple tasks, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service in a busy healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and visitors and providing a professional and friendly first impression.
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls and responding to enquiries.
- Accurately entering patient information into the clinic management system.
- Processing referrals and preparing patient documentation for technical staff.
- Assisting patients with requests for reports and imaging records.
- Liaising with patients, referrers and healthcare professionals to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Managing administrative tasks and maintaining an organised reception area.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic and contributing to a positive team setting.
About you
- Previous reception, administration or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent verbal communication and telephone skills.
- Strong customer service focus and a professional, compassionate approach.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure.
- A team-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and service.
