Join our Dandenong Workshop, where no day is the same and you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of different duties in Metal Fabrication. Working with our Trailer and Refrigeration Mechanics, you'll be responsible for any trailer repairs that require fabrication.

Day to day you will be:

- Undertaking fabrication, welding, fittings and replacing parts

- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines

- Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering

- Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments

- Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting

- Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding

- Using your attention to detail to ensure your work is of positive quality

Our requirements for the role are:

- Minimum 3 years of Fabrication and welding experience; (2nd class welding experience or equivalent)

- And/Or a Trade Certificate in Metal Fabrication/Welding

- Attention to detail and able to provide high quality workmanship

- Strong problem-solving abilities
