Sydney Laser Engineering is searching for an experienced MR Truck Driver to join our dedicated team in Glendenning, NSW. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials and goods across the region, playing a vital role in our manufacturing and logistics operations.
What you'll be doing
- Operate MR class trucks to transport goods and materials between our manufacturing facility, suppliers and customer sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure protected driving practices
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as required
- Communicate effectively with the Production Team, Management Team and customers
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
What we're looking for
- Valid MR class driver's license and a minimum of 2 years' experience operating MR trucks
- Strong understanding of road rules and safe driving practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Must have a valid forklift license
