A little about us

· Active Balance is a private practice located in the expanding seaside town of Old Bar, on the beautiful mid north coast of NSW.

· Old Bar is close to Taree, Forster and Port Macquarie. You will be spoilt for choice when exploring this magical region, be it by the ocean or the country side.

· Our clinic currently has 4 full time physiotherapists, and full time administrative support.

· We enjoy an excellent relationship with local GP’s and specialists, and working for our team will give you a chance to see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries across all age groups.

· We provide a range of health services provided to varied clientele; including musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy, vestibular assessment and treatment, women's health physiotherapy, sporting injury management, orthopaedics, community based physiotherapy including gym based group exercise classes

· Our Physiotherapists have a strong focus on hands on therapy, including dry needling; special interest in sporting injury management and rehabilitation; women’s health physiotherapy utilising real time ultrasound, and vestibular physiotherapy using vestibular first goggles and software.

· Our clinic in Old Bar has private treatment rooms with onsite gym, as well as access to local gym for group classes and rehab sessions, directly opposite the beach! We will also be expanding and moving into a custom built clinic in mid 2027 right in the heart of Old Bar.

The role on offer:

Ø Full time negotiable hours/days. Potential for 9 day fortnight, or 4 day week, all options up for discussion.

Ø Above award salary, not commission based, no KPIs, no pressure!

Ø Private practice with varied case load – sporting injuries , orthopaedic rehabilitation, neurological and vestibular rehabilitation,



group exercise classes, community physiotherapy; plenty of options and variations.

Ø Direct support and opportunities to work along side experienced clinicians, who want to support new graduates.

Ø We are committed to supporting our local communities by actively sponsoring and contributing to local sporting clubs, including sporting game day coverage.

Ø We want to support you to grow into a confident, skilled physiotherapist, without the pressure or demands of KPI/commission based roles; we want you to learn in a collaborative, friendly, and welcoming environment; with plenty of coffee!

Ø Structured monthly professional development through Learn Physio, weekly 1:1 case reviews, journal reviews

Ø Annual Allowance for external CPD

Requirements o Current AHPRA registration o APA membership and professional indemnity insurance o Working with children check, NSW Police check o Drivers license
