Are you a natural organiser who loves bringing people together, improving processes and keeping a busy office running smoothly?

Cure-All Pest Control is looking for an experienced, proactive and positive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy office, support our administration team and ensure our business continues to operate efficiently.

We are a proudly family-owned and operated Queensland business, established in 1966. Celebrating 60 years in business, we have built our reputation on exceptional customer service, long-standing relationships and a supportive team environment.

We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their workplace, enjoys leading people and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can balance people management, organisation, administration and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As our Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the office operates efficiently, staff are supported and accountable, and our systems and procedures are consistently followed.

You will work closely with management to maintain a positive workplace culture while ensuring daily responsibilities, operational requirements and customer service standards are met.

Your Key Responsibilities

Office Management & Organisation

- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of our busy office.

- Ensure office supplies, stationery, groceries, kitchen essentials and other consumables are adequately stocked.

- Organise monthly staff breakfasts, morning teas, celebrations and other team activities.

- Maintain a clean, organised, professional and welcoming office environment.

- Coordinate office maintenance and general administrative requirements.

- Identify opportunities to improve office efficiency and organisation.

Staff Supervision & Performance

- Oversee daily administration workflows and ensure all office staff complete their allocated duties accurately and on time.

- Monitor staff workloads, productivity, performance and accountability.

- Conduct regular team meetings and follow up on agreed actions.

- Provide guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback to staff.

- Identify training needs and assist with staff development.

- Encourage teamwork, clear communication and a positive working environment.

- Address day-to-day staff concerns and escalate matters to management when necessary.

Offshore Team Management

- Maintain regular communication and engagement with our offshore administration team.

- Monitor offshore staff performance, workloads, task completion and accuracy.

- Ensure offshore staff understand their responsibilities and follow company procedures.

- Coordinate workflows between our Australian and offshore teams.

- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and communication across both teams.

Workplace Health, Safety & Compliance

- Maintain and coordinate Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) documentation, registers and administrative requirements.

- Ensure relevant compliance paperwork, staff records, licences and training records are maintained and up to date.

- Assist with implementing and monitoring workplace safety procedures.

- Coordinate compliance requirements and ensure documentation is completed within required timeframes.

- Work with management to maintain appropriate business policies and procedures.

Customer Service & Complaints

- Manage customer complaints and escalated enquiries professionally and efficiently.

- Investigate issues, coordinate resolutions and follow up to ensure satisfactory outcomes.

- Support staff in handling challenging customer situations.

- Answer incoming telephone calls and assist with bookings, enquiries and administration during busy periods.

- Maintain high standards of customer service throughout the office.

Systems, Procedures & Continuous Improvement

- Review existing office procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Implement new systems, processes and operational changes as directed by management.

- Ensure staff are trained in and consistently follow company procedures.

- Monitor the effectiveness of changes and provide feedback to management.

- Help improve communication, accountability and efficiency across the business.

About You

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, approachable, confident and genuinely enjoys working with people.

You will ideally have

- Previous experience as an Office Manager, Administration Manager, Operations Coordinator or similar leadership role.

- Proven ability to supervise staff,

delegate responsibilities and ensure tasks are completed.

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience managing customer complaints and resolving problems.

- Confidence working with remote or offshore administration teams.

- Good understanding of workplace compliance and WHS administration.

- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.

- A proactive attitude with the ability to identify and implement improvements.

- The confidence to hold staff accountable while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment.

- A willingness to assist with everyday office duties when required.

Experience in a trade, service-based or scheduling business would be highly regarded.

What Makes You the Right Fit?

We want someone who

- Leads by example and brings positive energy to the workplace.

- Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what needs doing.

- Notices the little things that make an office run smoothly.

- Can be friendly and approachable while maintaining clear expectations.

- Enjoys organising staff activities and building team morale.

- Is comfortable having difficult conversations when required.

- Can juggle multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.

- Takes pride in improving procedures and making things happen.

- Understands that no task is too big or too small.

Why Join Cure-All Pest Control?

- Join a well-established, family-owned business celebrating 60 years of operation.

- Work with a loyal and experienced team, many of whom have been with us for more than 10 years.

- Enjoy a friendly, supportive workplace with monthly team breakfasts and regular staff celebrations.

- Have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to our office culture and daily operations.
