About The Role

Our Mine Services team has opportunities for Operators – labours to join the Maules Creek Mine operation.

In this role, you’ll support a range of mine services activities, including civil earthworks, drainage, infrastructure maintenance, rehabilitation projects and general labouring duties. Your contribution will help ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the mine.

What You’ll Do

- Carry out civil earthworks, drainage, infrastructure works and rehabilitation projects and general labour work across the mine site.
- Safely operate heavy machinery and equipment to complete assigned work.
- Identify, report and manage hazards, always demonstrating safe work practices.
- Work collaboratively with your leader and team members to deliver work safely and efficiently.




- Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold Whitehaven Coal’s safety standards.

What You’ll Bring

- Previous mining industry experience in a similar operational role.
- Experience in civil earthworks and operating heavy machinery.
- Practical drainage experience, including pumps and pipework.
- A current driver’s licence.
