About the role

The Organisation and Methods Analyst is responsible for analysing and improving organisational structures, business processes, work methods and operational systems across the food wholesale and distribution business. The role identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, service quality, cost effectiveness and compliance. It works closely with operational, warehouse, transport, procurement, sales, finance and management teams to review current practices, develop improved methods and support the implementation of business process improvements.

Key responsibilities

Analyse existing organisational structures, workflows, procedures and operating methods

Review business processes across warehousing, distribution, procurement, inventory, sales and administration

Identify process inefficiencies, duplication,



bottlenecks, risks and opportunities for improvement

Develop and document improved methods, procedures, workflows and operating practices

Conduct work measurement, process mapping and operational reviews where required

Recommend practical improvements to productivity, workflow, resource utilisation and service delivery

Support initiatives to reduce operational costs, waste, errors and processing time

Collect, analyse and interpret operational and organisational data

Prepare reports, analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making

Monitor process performance against agreed operational measures

About you

Experience in organisation and methods analysis, business process analysis, business improvement, operational analysis or a closely related discipline

Experience analysing and documenting business processes, workflows and work methods

Experience identifying process inefficiencies and developing practical improvement recommendations

Experience working with operational data and preparing reports or management recommendations

Experience working collaboratively with operational and corporate stakeholders

Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills

Robust process mapping, workflow analysis and documentation skills

Sound numerical and data interpretation capability

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
