Our main laboratory is based in Deakin, Canberra where we provide employees with the opportunity to become part of an Australian wide medical testing laboratory network focused on leadership and expert advice. We provide services to medical practitioners, private hospitals and aged care facilities in both the ACT and regional surrounds (Southern Tablelands, Snowy Mountains and South Coast NSW).

The Opportunity

We have part-time opportunities available in Canberra for enthusiastic, self-motivated people to work as part of our dedicated team providing quality customer service. Organised people with good attention to detail, who display initiative and can work systematically within a team environment to complete tasks within set timeframes would suit these roles.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who have a passion for delivering quality outcomes for customers and the organisation.

Day to Day duties include:

· Processing patient pathology samples across several departments in a timely and efficient manner.

· General laboratory maintenance,

· Perform equipment/instrument maintenance and basic troubleshooting where required





· Provide support for technical and scientific team members within the laboratory

· Promote and display our values at all times

· Participate in a rotating roster including afternoon/evenings, early morning and weekend rotations

Applicants should possess the following:

· Excellent interpersonal (communication) skills

· Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

· A positive attitude in relation to working in a team environment and providing exceptional customer service

· Ability to be flexible and adaptable

· A valid Driver’s License

· You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work

Salary Range: $28.59 - $30.35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
