About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team on a part-time basis or full-time basis, with flexible working arrangements available.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, industrial instruments and organisational policies.

You will play an important role in supporting our employees and the broader operations of Proserpine Nursing Home, contributing to a positive and well-supported workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee wages and entitlements.

- Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee details, timesheets,



leave balances and payroll adjustments.

- Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, enterprise agreements, superannuation and taxation obligations.

- Respond to employee payroll enquiries, providing timely and accurate information and support.

- Prepare payroll reports, undertake reconciliations and support continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering quality outcomes, enjoys working collaboratively and shares our commitment to resident-centred care.

To be successful, you will have:

- Previous experience in an end-to-end payroll position.

- Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, employment obligations and relevant industrial instruments.

- Experience using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

- A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude.

- Valid and transparent National Police Check.

- Clear from listing on the Australian Aged Care Banning Order.
