About the Opportunity The Performing Arts Teacher is a registered teacher who demonstrates strong disciplinary expertise and a commitment to evidence-based teaching practices. Working collaboratively with colleagues, the successful applicant will deliver high-quality curriculum programs that enable students to achieve their personal best and flourish as compassionate, capable and confident learners.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Planning and delivering engaging curriculum and learning experiences in Performing Arts
- Using evidence-based pedagogical strategies that support student growth and achievement
- Differentiating learning to meet the diverse needs, interests and abilities of students
- Monitoring, assessing and reporting on student progress with timely and constructive feedback
- Maintaining positive classroom environments that promote engagement and wellbeing
- Collaborating with colleagues in professional learning, curriculum planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contributing to the pastoral, co-curricular and extracurricular programs of the College
- Building positive relationships with students,



families and the broader College community
- Supporting the Christian ethos and values of Good Shepherd Lutheran College
