Lumina Recruitment is currently partnering with a highly regarded, community-focused pharmacy in the Parramatta area to find an experienced and motivated Pharmacist in Charge. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist who is ready to lead a dedicated team, drive business growth, and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
About the Role:
As Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for managing dispensary operations, delivering professional pharmacy services, supporting and mentoring pharmacy assistants, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across the store. You will work closely with a knowledgeable dispensary technician and oversee a total team of four staff members. This is a part time role of 25 to 28 hours per week with the ability to become full time as time progresses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all dispensary operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and full regulatory compliance
- Deliver professional health services and patient counselling with a customer-first approach
- Lead, train, and motivate pharmacy staff to drive both clinical excellence and retail success
- Develop and implement procedures to improve workflow and business efficiency
- Build relationships with local GPs and allied health professionals
- Contribute to front-of-shop sales growth and customer engagement strategies
- Support business objectives by working toward clear KPIs
- Participate in a rotating 7-day roster
About You: The ideal candidate will be a confident, proactive leader with a strong focus on customer care and professional service delivery.
You will have
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist in Australia
- Previous experience in a retail/community pharmacy setting
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient care and tailored health solutions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think creatively to meet customer and business needs
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to lead by example
