Unite Resourcing is looking for experienced Pipe Fitters for Tier 1 SMP construction projects across WA’s mining and mineral processing sector. These are major builds with months of steady work, robust crews and the hours to make every swing count.

What you’ll take home

- Earn $13,000+ every swing, including overtime, site allowance and bonuses

- That’s a potential $200,000+ a year on a continuous 2:1 roster

- 80.5 hours a week: 7 x 11.5-hour day shifts, with a large share of your hours paid at time and a half and double time

The lifestyle

The work

- Install process and utility piping in carbon steel, stainless steel and lined pipe

- Fit spools, valves, flanges and supports to isometric drawings and P&IDs;

- Fit up pipe for welders; manage flanges and torque bolts

- Hydrotesting, flushing, punch lists and handover to pre-commissioning

- Work alongside riggers, welders and E&I; crews on large-scale builds

What you need

- Australian trade certificate: Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Fitter (Cert III) or equivalent

- Mining, process plant, refinery or oil and gas construction experience

- Confident reading isometrics and P&IDs;





- White Card and a current driver’s licence

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

- Full Australian working rights

Highly regarded

- EWP high risk licence (WP), Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test

- Tier 1 SMP construction experience
