The Trustee for the Reilly Pastoral Trust About the role We’re looking for an experienced Pig Farmer to run the day-to-day operation of our commercial piggeries at South Burnett and Darling Downs Region. This is a hands-on management role: you’ll plan and prioritise the work, and you’ll also do the feeding and breeding yourself. Main duties and responsibilities Manage the day-to-day running of the piggery, including planning and prioritising daily work Carry out feeding, including managing rations and feed supply Manage breeding, including the breeding program and the care of sows and piglets Monitor pig health and welfare, and report and act on any issues Keep accurate production and animal records Maintain biosecurity, workplace health and safety, and the cleanliness of sheds and equipment Work with and support fellow team members About you Relevant formal qualifications At least one year relevant work experience in animal husbandry in a commercial piggery Proven record keeping, problem solving, time management,



feeding management and production skills Knowledge of pig health and safety Respect for fellow team members and a commitment to a culturally diverse workforce About Company RPC Dalby Pty Ltd is a pork producer based in Dalby, Queensland, with operations across the Darling Downs, South Burnett and in Warwick.
