The Trustee for RPC Glengallan Trust About the role We’re looking for an experienced Pig Farmer to run the day-to-day operation of our commercial piggery in Southern Downs Region, Massie/Warwick. This is a hands-on management role: you’ll plan and prioritize the work, and you’ll also do the feeding and breeding yourself. Main duties and responsibilities Manage the day-to-day running of the piggery, including planning and prioritizing daily work Carry out feeding, including managing rations and feed supply Manage breeding, including the breeding program and the care of sows and piglets Monitor pig health and welfare, and report and act on any issues Keep accurate production and animal records Maintain biosecurity, workplace health and safety, and the cleanliness of sheds and equipment Work with and support fellow team members About you Relevant formal qualifications At least one year relevant work experience in animal husbandry in a commercial piggery Proven record keeping,



problem solving, time management, feeding management and production skills Knowledge of pig health and safety Respect for fellow team members and a commitment to a culturally diverse workforce About Company RPC Warwick Pty Ltd is a well-established company, with its head office located at 39 Volker St, Dalby in regional Queensland.
