Sitzler is looking for a hands-on Plant Coordinator to support the day-to-day coordination of our plant, equipment and vehicle fleet across our projects.

What you'll be doing

- Coordinate plant and equipment requirements across projects, including allocation, mobilisation, demobilisation and off-hire.
- Maintain plant hire schedules, timesheets and plant/equipment records.
- Track plant locations, operating hours, servicing, faults, registrations and licensing.
- Work closely with the Workshop team to coordinate scheduled servicing, inspections, repairs and major works.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, repairers and plant hire companies as required.
- Coordinate plant movements and transport requirements with logistics and yard operations.
- Help ensure plant and equipment are safe, compliant, fit for purpose and ready for use.
- Monitor plant utilisation, availability, downtime, maintenance and hire costs.
- Keep plant manuals, service histories, registers and other asset information accurate and up to date.

About you





This role is about making sure the right equipment is available when it is needed, properly maintained, compliant and ready to go. You’ll work closely with our project teams, workshop managers, suppliers and service providers to coordinate plant movements, maintenance, repairs, hire requirements and asset records.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Around 5 years' relevant experience in plant, equipment, hire, fleet or workshop coordination.
- Practical knowledge of heavy plant and equipment.
- Experience coordinating servicing, maintenance, repairs and inspections.
- Valuable organisational skills and the ability to manage changing plant requirements across different projects.
- Strong attention to plant records, registrations, servicing requirements and documentation.
- Confidence dealing with project teams, workshop personnel, hire companies, suppliers and service providers.
- A practical understanding of safety and compliance requirements around plant and heavy equipment.
- Previous experience in plant maintenance, servicing, repairs, inspections and fault management will be highly regarded.
