Create is a rapid-growing civil earthworks, piping and building services contractor based in Queensland’s Bowen Basin. Our building services team delivers complex multi-trade infrastructure projects for tier one mining clients, spanning plumbing, concreting, carpentry and civil works. We hold ongoing contracts at Caval Ridge and Saraji mines and work extensively with Peak Downs and BMA's Infrastructure and Services teams. The Role
We’re seeking trade-qualified plumbers and carpenters with commercial or industrial project experience. Work varies between projects, so you’ll need to be versatile and open to all aspects of building services construction. It’s a bonus if you can also operate or perform one or more of the following:
- Small to medium excavators
- Skid steer loaders
- Hydro excavation trucks
- Heavy rigid trucks (tippers, water carts, etc.)
- High risk dogging / rigging
- Polywelding
Requirements
- Trade qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ experience,
including recent commercial or industrial project work (preferably on a BMA or similar tier one mining site)
- Within driving distance of Moranbah, or of Brisbane or Cairns airport
- Current QLD Coal Board Medical, Standard 11 and BMA Core inductions highly regarded
- Australian driver’s licence (truck licence is a bonus)
- Relevant RII qualifications preferred
- Pride in your work, a strong safety commitment and a can-do attitude
We run crews of varying sizes where everyone pitches in — if something needs doing, you jump in and do it, whatever your trade.
