## Volunteer Team Managers & Team Assistants – VPL Senior Men

Port Melbourne Soccer Club

Port Melbourne SC is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Victorian Premier League Senior Men's program as Team Managers and Team Assistants.

Our club is about more than what happens on the pitch. It's about people, connection and community. Our volunteers are an integral part of that, and we want to continue building a club where people feel welcomed, valued and part of something.

As we grow, we're expanding our volunteer network and creating more opportunities for people to get involved, share their skills, make connections and enjoy being part of our football community. We'll provide support, guidance and an chance to be involved in a competitive senior football environment.

### Team Manager The Team Manager helps coordinate the day-to-day organisation and administration of the team, supporting players and coaching staff throughout the season.

Responsibilities include

- Coordinating team administration and communication.
- Working with the List Manager, Football Operations Manager and Football Department on team requirements.
- Organising training and match-day logistics and team administration.
- Managing team sheets, player registrations and competition requirements.
- Maintaining an understanding of Football Victoria rules and regulations.

### Team Assistants

Team Assistants work alongside the Team Manager and coaching staff, providing practical support with team operations, training and match-day preparation.

Responsibilities include

- Managing team training kits,



playing strip and off-field uniforms.
- Managing, preparing and organising equipment for training and match days.
- Assisting with training and match-day pitch preparation, pack-down, VEO (camera/recording) operations and general team logistics.

### Who We're Looking For

People who are reliable, approachable, organised and enjoy being involved in football. Previous experience is welcome but not essential. Enthusiasm and a willingness to be part of the team are what matter.

Essential requirement: A current Victorian Working with Children Check and commitment to child safeguarding and member protection practices

Time commitment: We’re looking for people with availability across Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening training, Friday night home fixtures, and away games as fixtured. Whether you can help for one evening or more, we’d love to hear from you.
