An opportunity exists to work across one or both medical centres.

The Role

We are seeking a Practice Nurse to join our friendly collegial team 3 days per week (Caversham) and 2 days per week (Dianella). This position may be filled by more than 1 candidate depending on candidates availability. The successful applicant(s) will be a key team member working collaboratively with an experienced team of General Practitioners, providing high quality and comprehensive care for all patients.

Key Tasks

- Health assessments

- Child and Adult Immunisations





- Post vaccination observations and monitoring

- Iron Infusions

- Triaging patients and prioritization of emergency situations

- ECG/Spirometry

- Assisting GP with minor procedures

- Results, Recalls

- Wound dressings and removal of sutures

- Infection Control/Cold Chain Management/Hand Hygeine

- Maintenance of inventory and clinical supplies

Qualifications and Experience

- AHPRA registered Enrolled or Registered Nurse

- Proven prior experience in General Practice or an acute setting

- Knowledge of Health Assessment is highly regarded

- Robust organisational and time management skills

- Outstanding communication and customer service skills

- Commitment to Quality Improvement and coordinated patient care
