We are looking for a special Practice Nurse / Midwife to join our busy, but friendly practice

Part-time position

Set days - average 2 days / week between 9am and 5pm

We are a well-established private practice located in Rose Park, South Australia, which provides comprehensive, personalised pregnancy and gynaecology care.

Your responsibilities would include:

· Provision of care to patients attending the practice for appointments including:

· basic health care assessment such as weight, urinalysis and blood pressure, administering vaccinations

· chaperoning patient examinations,

· assisting with minor procedures such as colposcopy and Mirena insertion

· antenatal assessments

· Provision of information and advice to patients both during their appointments and over the phone as appropriate





· Handling of pathology specimens

· Care and sterilisation of instruments

· Maintenance of electronic database and patient records

· Administrations duties including answering telephones, filing, making appointments and hospital bookings

Successful applicants must have:

· Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered General Nurse or Midwife

· Valid National Police Certificate

· A qualified, friendly nature, reliability, honesty, and excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality

· An ability to work as part of a small team and maintain the core values of the practice
