We are seeking a curious and commercially minded Pricing Analyst to join mecwacare’s Finance & Enabling Services team in Malvern. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning numbers into clear, practical recommendations.

You will develop and maintain pricing models across our residential aged care, home care, retirement living, disability and community services. Working closely with operational leaders, finance colleagues and executives, you will help make sure our pricing is fair, compliant and sustainable, and that it supports both quality care and organisational growth.

Your responsibilities will include

- Developing, maintaining and reviewing pricing models across all service streams.
- Analysing profitability, margins and service performance to support pricing recommendations.
- Leading annual pricing reviews and fee updates, and modelling the impact of changes on revenue and demand.
- Preparing reports, dashboards, scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis for management and executive decision-making.
- Partnering with Service Managers and Operations Leaders to provide clear, practical pricing advice.
- Supporting tenders, business cases, funding submissions and new service development.
- Monitoring market trends,



competitor positioning and regulatory or funding changes.
- Maintaining accurate pricing data and auditable documentation, and improving processes through automation and standardisation.

About you You are analytical, detail-focused and practical, with strong commercial instincts. You enjoy digging into data, but you also understand that pricing decisions affect real people and real services.

You are just as comfortable building a complex financial model as you are explaining your recommendations to a service manager in plain language. You take ownership of your work, value accuracy and integrity, and build strong working relationships across the organisation.

Experience in aged care, health, disability or community services is highly regarded. We also welcome applicants from other regulated industries who can demonstrate strong pricing, commercial or financial analysis skills.

What you bring

- Experience in pricing, commercial analysis, financial analysis or business intelligence roles
- Proven experience developing and maintaining financial or pricing models
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills




- Experience interpreting large datasets and translating insights into business recommendations
- Experience in aged care, health, disability, community services or a similarly regulated environment
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business or a related discipline
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence through evidence
- High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity

Desirable Criteria

- Experience with aged care funding and pricing models
- Understanding of Australian aged care, disability or community services funding frameworks
- Experience with Power BI, SQL or other business intelligence tools
- Experience supporting tenders, business cases or strategic growth initiatives
- CPA, CA or postgraduate business qualification
