The Role

You will join the team driving the public-facing MyCRM experience for the customers and future customers of our financial professionals. You will be the Principal Engineer with a broad set of responsibilities, working with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager and User Experience Designer to architect, build and deliver our next-generation customer experience.

- We are a newly formed team with a fresh mandate to drive our customer-facing platform forward through all stages of customer engagement from new lead generation to post-deal nurture and growth and all interactions in between.
- As the technical lead, you will be pivotal in the design,



problem-solving and steering of technical decisions required for projects worked on by the team
- Leading your peer engineers to plan, implement, test and deliver high-quality solutions.
- This includes significant green field opportunities as we seek out innovative new ways to deliver value to our advisors and their customers
- Maintain a high level of satisfaction, stability and trust with our users by driving throughput on our CI/CD pipeline.
- Work with our cross-functional corporate marketing team to maintain and evolve our advisor websites and critical integrations with our partners

About You

As a geographically distributed team of tech-enthusiasts who value curiosity and pragmatism, we are looking for an engineer who believes in our style of team-oriented software development.
- You love to write quality code. We do! And we have a great time doing it together, learning and improving as we go.
- You're happy working at all stages of the software development process, from talking to customers about new ideas, right through to supporting finished features.
- You like to take ownership. Our team is responsible for the solution design, development, test and support of our platform.
- You love to solve problems. Our team isn't handed a list of code changes to make:



the team helps to map out a loose plan and then has an agreed period of time to deliver the best outcome they can.
- You love to learn. MyCRM is a rich product with a huge amount of depth; there's always something new to dive into and you’ll need to innovate with complex logic, a user experience customers love, mixed datastores, API design, and more.

Skills & Knowledge

We are more passionate about your attitude and capabilities than existing experience but we value the following skills you bring to us:

- A background in C# and the .NET ecosystem
- Front end web development in frameworks like React or Angular
- Experience with persistence technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL and NoSQL
- Working with cloud services like AWS, Azure or GCP
- CI/CD pipelines, in particular with Github Actions, Azure Devops and/or Octopus
- Exposure to container technologies Docker, Kubernetes; IaC like Terraform; comfortable with bash/CLIs
