We're seeking an experienced Program Delivery Lead to join a large-scale national transformation program focused on improving customer support services, digital channels and service delivery outcomes across Australia.

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role within a complex, federally funded program that is transforming how people access support services through digital, phone and customer-facing channels.

About the Role

Reporting to the Program Manager and acting as their 2IC, you will provide leadership and coordination across a complex, multi-stream transformation program. Rather than owning a single workstream, you will bring together multiple project leaders and delivery teams, ensuring dependencies are managed, priorities remain aligned and the program continues to progress toward its strategic outcomes.

The program spans approximately 50 people and includes work across customer support services, digital platforms, knowledge management, service quality and marketing. Working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery partners and project managers, you will maintain a clear view of the overall program, helping ensure all streams operate as one coordinated effort.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as 2IC to the Program Manager, providing leadership across the program
- Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, dependencies and critical paths
- Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams and project teams
- Lead program governance activities, reporting, risk management and assurance processes




- Facilitate discussions to resolve competing priorities and delivery challenges
- Manage program-level status reporting, dashboards and executive updates
- Support resource planning, capacity management and delivery forecasting
- Drive a strong focus on outcomes, benefits realisation and successful program delivery

About You

You are a senior program delivery professional who thrives in complex environments and can quickly establish credibility with stakeholders across multiple teams. You will bring:

- Extensive experience delivering complex programs or portfolios with multiple concurrent workstreams
- Robust expertise in integrated planning, dependency management and critical path analysis
- Demonstrated experience coordinating governance, risks, issues, changes and program controls
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Strong written communication and reporting capabilities for executive audiences
- Experience working within Agile, traditional or hybrid delivery environments
- Advanced proficiency across project scheduling and reporting tools
- The ability to bring teams together and maintain momentum in large-scale transformation programs

Highly Desirable

- Experience within healthcare, not-for-profit or human services environments
- Exposure to government-funded programs and federated operating models
- Experience delivering digital, technology or customer transformation initiatives
- Formal project or program management qualifications such as PRINCE2, MSP or PMP
