SCEE Electrical is seeking an accomplished Project Director to join our Sydney-based operations and lead the delivery of a growing portfolio of major electrical and energy infrastructure projects.

This is a senior leadership opportunity based for an experienced project professional with a strong electrical background and a proven track record delivering multiple large-scale, technically complex projects across sectors such as renewable energy, BESS, data centres, power and HV infrastructure.

You will provide leadership across major project delivery, working closely with our clients and project teams to drive exceptional outcomes across safety, program, commercial performance and quality, while playing an important role in the continued growth of SCEE Electrical across the Eastern Region.

The Role

Reporting into senior operational leadership the Project Director will provide strategic and delivery oversight across multiple major projects, ensuring strong outcomes across safety, program, commercial performance, quality and client relationships.

Key responsibilities will include

- Lead the successful delivery of multiple large-scale electrical and infrastructure projects.
- Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Oversee projects from mobilisation and construction through to commissioning, completion and handover.
- Drive project performance across safety, program, cost, quality and commercial outcomes.
- Maintain oversight of project budgets, forecasts, contractual obligations, variations and commercial risk.
- Build strong relationships with clients, delivery partners, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Provide early intervention and strategic direction where project performance, program or commercial outcomes are at risk.
- Support project planning,



resourcing and delivery strategies across the broader project portfolio.
- Work closely with engineering, construction, commercial and operational teams to ensure effective project execution.

About You You will be an experienced senior project leader with a proven track record delivering major electrical projects of significant scale and complexity, including responsibility across more than one project or a broader project portfolio. Ideally, you will bring:

- Electrical trade qualification or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Significant experience in senior project leadership within the electrical, construction, energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale renewable energy, BESS, data centre, HV, power or major electrical infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated capability managing multiple concurrent projects and large multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial, contractual and financial management capability.
- Experience working within a principal contractor, EPC or major electrical contractor environment.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- A practical, delivery-focused leadership style with the ability to operate comfortably across both executive and project environments.
- Willingness to travel to project locations as required.
