About the role

Provide Project Management expertise to Data#3 and its customers with a focus on project delivery, assisting clients with the adoption of IT Infrastructure best practice solutions. This expertise is delivered during pre-sales, solution implementations, packaged offerings, specialist and support engagements of various types.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, manage and evaluate projects to meet customer expectations through leadership and coordination of the project team's work, on time, within budget and to defined standards and specifications
- Development and implementation of project plans to meet agreed timeframes and standards
- Identification, evaluation, management and reporting of project risks and issues
- Maintain comprehensive records of all project work completed
- Prepare weekly project update reports and maintain project communication documentation as outlined in the project plan
- Prepare project financial plans and manage the revenue and costs as outlined in the project budget
- Act as customer contact point and advisor in relation to IT best practice activities and solution offerings
- Perform pre-sales role on key customer engagements and contribute to the submission of tenders, proposals and presentations where required
- Obtain,



analyse and document user and business requirements through conducting workshops and interviews with customers
- Participate in the test process for solutions including compiling and documenting test plans and scripts

About you

- High-level experience in an IT environment applying Project Management skills
- Demonstrated experience and application of IT best practice methodologies from analysis through to implementation and transition
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in Project Management within an IT environment or Consultancy or similar role managing different sites and clients
- Demonstrated experience using relevant Microsoft technologies including MS Project and Project server
- Formal Project Management or similar qualifications and memberships
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills that ensure explicit and accurate communication with all stakeholders
- Effective conflict resolution and issue management
- Integrity in dealing with customer and supplier issues
