This NSW Government department has revitalised its Cyber Security Uplift Program. Having moved out of critical recovery and transitioned through Amber, the program now has an active, structured go-to-green plan.

We are seeking a delivery-focused Project Manager to take ownership of multiple concurrent workstreams, build out program artefacts, and ensure initiatives cross the finish line by June 2027.

Your core mission will be driving momentum: turning the operational handle, coordinating with Initiative Leads, and turning high-level strategies into robust, fully documented deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive Multi-Initiative Delivery: Lead and execute multiple concurrent cyber uplift streams, tracking progress against milestones to meet the June 2027 completion target.
- Stakeholder & Lead Management: Partner closely with various Initiative Leads across workstreams to maintain accountability, unblock bottlenecks, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Artefact & Documentation Development: Rapidly produce, refine, and consolidate a high volume of project documentation and delivery artefacts, establishing clear structure across the program.




- Diverse Cyber & Tech Scope: Manage varied initiatives, including government policy alignments, AI-driven security projects, and foundational cyber controls.
- Schedule Alignment: Collaborate with the Program Scheduler to maintain schedule accuracy, track dependencies, and manage risks/issues.

Key Requirements

- Proven track record as a Project Manager delivering complex technology or cyber security uplift/transformation programs within enterprise or public sector environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiative leads and workstreams simultaneously without losing operational momentum.
- Exceptional capability in producing high-quality governance and delivery artefacts (business cases, frameworks, closure reports, transition docs).
- Familiarity with NSW Government standards and frameworks, cyber uplift policies, or emerging technology initiatives (e.g., AI adoption) is highly advantageous.
- Robust communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills under structured timelines.
