SC Heinrich & Co Pty Ltd are a earthmoving and quarrying business which has been successfully operating in SA's Mid North for over 7 decades.

We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our team.

This is a full time position working from Monday to Friday.

A SC Heinrich vehicle for use while preforming this role will be included in the remuneration package. Rates are negotiable for the right candidate depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

- Prepares work to be estimated by reviewing tenders, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

•Provides prepared estimates and quotations by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information to clients.

•Plan, coordinate, and manage civil construction projects including roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities, and structural works

•Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans

•Interpret and review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents

•Plan and implement site layout, including positioning of plant,



materials, levels and communicate scope of works.

•Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and in office personnel

•Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on timelines, costs, and risks

•Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

•Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical issues

•Conduct site establishment, inspections and ensure quality control procedures are followed

•Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on-site

•Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships

•Manage procurement processes and contract administration

•Approve variations, claims, and project documentation

Tertiary degree in engineering or construction-related field is preferred or minimum 3 years previous experience as an Project Manager with infrastructure projects experience required.

Australian citizenship/permanent residency is required for this position.
