Metrowest is seeking qualified and provisional electricians to join our team delivering electrical installation projects in Adelaide.

About the Role

You will work on commercial and industrial electrical installations, supporting the delivery of electrical infrastructure and associated systems. The role suits reliable electricians with strong installation skills, attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices.

Qualified and provisional electricians are encouraged to apply, with duties and supervision appropriate to licence conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Installing cable tray, ladder, conduit and associated supports.
- Installing, pulling and terminating power and control cabling.
- Installing and connecting switchboards, distribution equipment and associated electrical equipment.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
- Assisting with inspection, testing, fault finding and commissioning activities.
- Completing installation records and quality documentation.




- Working with supervisors and other trades to meet project milestones.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and site housekeeping.

Requirements

- A current SA electrical licence or provisional licence appropriate to the role.
- A current White Card and driver’s licence.
- Experience in commercial or industrial electrical installations.
- The ability to read drawings and follow installation requirements.
- Positive communication skills and a reliable, proactive approach.
- The ability to work independently within your licence conditions and as part of a team.
- Willingness to complete project-specific onboarding and satisfy applicable site access requirements.

Desirable (not essential):

- Cable containment, power cabling and control wiring.
- Switchboard and electrical equipment installation.
- Electrical testing and fault finding.
- EWP and Working at Heights tickets.
- Current CPR/LVR certification.
