Bakers Delight Kingsley is seeking a qualified, hardworking and enthusiastic baker to join our team.
We take pride in baking fresh, quality products and providing friendly service to our local community. As part of our team, you will put your baking skills to work in a busy, supportive environment.
Your responsibilities
- Preparing, mixing, kneading, dividing and moulding dough according to recipes and production schedules.
- Monitoring proofing conditions, oven temperatures and baking times.
- Baking and presenting consistently high-quality bread, rolls, buns and savoury products.
- Supporting the training and development of apprentices and bakery assistants.
- Maintaining a clean and safe bakery and following food safety and workplace safety procedures.
- Assisting with stock control, ingredient ordering and minimising production waste.
- Working with the bakery manager and team to meet daily production requirements.
- Providing friendly customer service when required.
About you
You will have
- A recognised baking trade qualification.
- At least two years of relevant commercial baking experience.
- Strong practical skills in bread and yeast-based bakery production.
- A commitment to product quality, food safety and cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment.
- Availability for early morning starts, weekends and public holidays as rostered.
