About the Role

As the Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the company's quality management systems while promoting a strong food safety and quality culture across the business. Working closely with operations and production teams, you will help ensure products consistently meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the continuous improvement and ongoing development of the company's quality framework
- Assist with compliance to Australian and international food legislation and labelling requirements, including GMP and HACCP standards
- Conduct root-cause analysis and support internal and third-party audits




- Collaborate with operations teams to maintain and improve quality KPIs
- Promote and foster a positive food safety and quality culture throughout the business
- Investigate customer complaints and feedback to support an exceptional customer experience
- Participate in product quality improvement initiatives and new product development activities
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and reporting systems

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Essential Criteria

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Officer or similar role within the food manufacturing or broader manufacturing industry
- Experience working with quality management systems and auditing processes
- Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP and food safety requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on process compliance
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills

Highly Desirable

- Qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, Science, or a related discipline
- Experience within a food processing or FMCG environment
- Knowledge of Australian food regulations and labelling requirements
