Business Development Manager | Bayside | $85,000 Commissions An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded real estate business in Melbourne's Bayside suburbs.

This is a newly created position designed to support the continued growth of the property management division, with a key focus on expanding its presence across the Elwood, Albert Park and surrounding markets.

Working for this strong, multi-office network, you'll be responsible for identifying, nurturing and securing new property management opportunities.

This is a fast-paced, client-facing role suited to someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships and converting opportunities into new business.

- Base salary of $80,000 - $85,000

What You'll Be Doing:

- Prospecting for new rental listings through networking, local marketing and proactive outreach

- Conducting rental appraisals and presentations to prospective landlords

- Converting warm and cold leads into signed management agreements

- Managing database leads and referrals from within the broader business network

- Building robust relationships with property owners,



developers and internal stakeholders

- Identifying opportunities to expand the rent roll across Elwood, Albert Park and surrounding areas

- Collaborating closely with the Leasing and Property Management teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new landlords

- Maintaining an active prospect database and following up business opportunities

- Working towards agreed business development and growth targets

What We're Looking For:

- Previous experience in residential real estate, ideally within Business Development, Property Management or Residential Sales

- Experienced BDMs, motivated Sales Associates and Property Managers looking to transition into business development are encouraged to apply

- Strong prospecting, networking and lead-conversion skills

- Confident communication, presentation and negotiation abilities

- Natural relationship-builder with a genuine passion for property

- Proactive, self-motivated and target-driven approach

- Strong understanding of the local property market

- Current Agent's Representative Certificate or relevant real estate qualification

- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

The Details:

- Location:Bayside suburbs

- Hours:Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, with Saturdays as rostered

- Base Salary:$80,000 - $85,000

- Commission:Generous commission structure and additional performance bonuses
