C&S; Mining Services are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant / Recruiter to join our team on a casual, part-time basis for 3-6 months.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter who understands the mining shutdown environment and is looking for flexible work around family or other commitments.
About the Role
Working closely with our mobilisation and operations team, you will be responsible for sourcing and coordinating skilled tradespeople for upcoming mining shutdowns and projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and screening skilled tradespeople for mining shutdowns
- Recruiting Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers, Welders, and other trades
- Advertising vacancies across relevant recruitment platforms
- Conducting phone screens and interviews
- Checking qualifications, tickets and relevant experience
- Maintaining candidate records and our recruitment database
- Keeping candidates engaged and available for upcoming shutdown opportunities
- Assisting with mobilisation requirements when required.
About You We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous recruitment experience within the mining industry
- Has a strong understanding of mining shutdowns and shutdown rosters
- Has experience recruiting tradespeople
- Understands the qualifications,
tickets and requirements commonly expected on mining sites
- Is confident speaking with candidates and building strong relationships
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Can work independently and manage multiple vacancies at once
- Is proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Adaptable Working Arrangements This is a casual part-time position working approximately 3-4 days per week.
