Regional Events and Business Development Representatives

Bring your passion for motoring, community engagement and customer service to a role where you’ll represent our client across regional events, build meaningful local relationships and help create positive customer experiences.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the community, connecting with people and taking ownership of event delivery. You’ll work independently across an allocated region while maintaining close relationships with internal stakeholders, event organizers, motoring clubs and community groups.

As a Regional Events and Business Development Representative you’ll help strengthen regional presence through approved events, activations and face-to-face engagement activities.

You’ll be a trusted local representative, supporting customer and partner relationships while identifying opportunities, sharing insights and ensuring every engagement is delivered professionally, safely and consistently.

Primary Events location will be Bendigo and Albury.

What you’ll do

- Deliver approved regional events, activations and engagement activities in line with agreed objectives and schedules
- Represent our clients brand professionally, creating a consistent and positive experience for customers, partners and community members
- Build effective relationships with customers, local clubs, event organizers and community groups
- Facilitate introductions,



conversations and appropriate follow-up opportunities that support customer relationship development
- Manage event equipment, materials, documentation and applicable expenses in accordance with agreed processes
- Provide timely feedback and post-event reporting, including attendance information, observations, outcomes, issues and identified opportunities

You’ll also maintain clear communication with relevant stakeholders and escalate risks, issues or opportunities when appropriate. Safety, governance and compliance will be central to how you plan and deliver every activity.

What you’ll bring

You’re a confident and approachable communicator who can engage a wide range of people and build credible relationships in community and event settings. You’re comfortable working autonomously, planning your activities and following through on commitments.

You’ll bring sound judgement, a practical approach and the ability to adapt when event or business requirements change.

Essential

- Experience building relationships with customers, community groups, clubs or event organizers
- Strong sales and customer service capabilities
- Experience working autonomously and managing competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and planning skills
- Confidence using computers, databases and standard business applications
- The ability to positively influence and engage others
- A genuine interest in motoring and an understanding of motoring communities
- Experience supporting or working at events

Nice to have

- Experience setting up and delivering motoring events
- Established involvement in local community or motoring networks
- Knowledge of the motoring industry and relevant market trends
- Marketing or sales training
