Santa Maria College is a leading Catholic girls' school founded by the Sisters of Mercy with 1300 students in Years 5-12, including 150 boarders.

We are seeking an exceptional Religious Education teacher. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team committed to providing outstanding opportunities for our students. An ability to teach Year 11 ATAR is preferred.

This position is full-time ongoing, commencing in Term 1 2027.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Commitment to our Catholic faith and our Mercy values

- Exemplary knowledge and proven practice in contemporary teaching and learning of Religious Education

- Passion, experience and exemplary curriculum knowledge to teach Year 11 ATAR Religious Education preferred.

- The capacity for innovative thinking to ensure the relevance of religious education for students

- Capacity for creative, engaging teaching and learning

- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff and parents

- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills





- Highly developed ICT skills

- Appropriate teacher qualifications

- Eligibility for teacher registration in Western Australia

- Working With Children Check
