About the role

Mani Restaurant at the Sydney Fish Market in Glebe, NSW is seeking enthusiastic and experienced full-time, part-time or casual Restaurant Waiting Staff to join our team. As a vital member of our service team, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional dining experience.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing attentive and friendly table service to customers
2. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the menu, specials, and ingredients to advise customers
3. Taking orders and delivering meals and beverages in a timely manner
4. Ensuring tables are promptly cleared and reset
5. Assisting with general restaurant duties as required
6. Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a restaurant waiter or server, preferably in a similar high-end establishment
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm, friendly and professional dining experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Mandarin and Cantonese speaking is a plus)
- Previous experience in seafood restaurants dealing with live seafood is a plus
- Must have basic alcohol knowledge including classic wines, cocktails and liqueur. RSA is a must.




- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for food, wine and hospitality
- Availability to work flexible part-time hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must have valid Australian work rights
