responsibilities Implementing effective visual merchandising strategies to maximise sales and enhance store presentation. Developing and executing business strategies to improve store performance and achieve sales targets. Identifying new sales opportunities and optimising product ranges and SKU selection.

Overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and operational excellence. Leading, supervising and mentoring retail team members to achieve business objectives. Maintaining high standards of customer service and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Monitoring inventory levels and implementing effective stock control measures to minimise loss and damage. Managing staff wages,



operating expenses and overall store budgets. Monitoring costs and interpreting financial reports, including profit and loss statements, to support business performance.

Qualification &

experience Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Retail Manager is required. A Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Business Management or a related discipline is required. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to organise, motivate, mentor and manage staff effectively.

Strong customer service orientation, supported by excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with customers from diverse backgrounds. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong computer literacy, including experience with EFTPOS, cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Proven ability to introduce, promote and manage new product lines, sales initiatives and promotional activities. Flexible, approachable and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively within a locally owned business. Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety (OH&S;) requirements and workplace compliance.

Current unrestricted driver’s licence. Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
