RSR Consulting RSR Consulting, on behalf of Slice & Grill Investments Pty Ltd trading as New York Slice (New York Slice Pizzeria) Fortitude Valley, is seeking a qualified and experienced Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its quick-service food retail outlet in Fortitude Valley, Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing retail operations, staff performance, inventory, purchasing, pricing, budgeting, promotional activities and customer service standards. The role requires solid leadership, commercial awareness and operational management skills to ensure the outlet operates efficiently, achieves financial objectives and consistently delivers quality products and customer service.

responsibilities Determine and manage the appropriate product mix, stock levels and customer service standards to meet demand and minimise wastage. Develop and implement purchasing strategies, coordinate supplier orders and establish competitive pricing to support profitability. Plan and oversee promotional campaigns, advertising initiatives and special offers to increase customer engagement and sales.

Manage retail sales operations, advise customers on menu offerings and ensure consistently high customer service standards. Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movements, cash handling, online sales and financial transactions. Prepare and monitor operational budgets, control expenditure and analyse sales performance to achieve financial targets.

Manage staff recruitment, selection, rostering, training,



supervision and performance to ensure efficient store operations. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, food safety requirements and relevant employment legislation. Monitor food quality, hygiene standards, equipment maintenance and overall store presentation.

Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally, including monitoring online reviews and implementing service improvements. Review operational performance and recommend improvements to productivity, cost efficiency and overall business profitability. Qualification &

experience AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management or a relevant discipline. Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience managing or supervising a retail or quick-service food outlet. Demonstrated ability to manage retail operations, inventory, purchasing, pricing and budgets.

Strong leadership, staff supervision, rostering and training capabilities. Sound understanding of food safety, workplace health and safety and relevant regulatory requirements. Excellent customer service, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to analyse sales performance, manage costs and improve operational efficiency. Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, inventory management and basic financial reporting.
