The role and key duties

- Lead, coach and develop a passionate team of hospitality professionals.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences that consistently exceed expectations.
- Ensure the highest standards of product quality, service delivery and presentation.




- Drive operational excellence and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manage the financial performance of the business, including revenue, expenses and profitability.
- Champion the Spicers brand locally, building awareness and driving bookings.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, compliance, reporting and administrative requirements.

This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role…

- A minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Hotel Manager, Operations Manager or Assistant General Manager from a luxury or boutique hotel environment;
- Strong understanding of Front Office, Rooms Division and/ or Hotel operations;
- An affinity for numbers with a strong understanding and ability to manage the P&L;, COGS and all business expenses;
- A high level of business acumen. You must understand how to operate and market your own business and maximise revenue across all departments;
- Excellent communication skills, a professional and friendly demeanour and a willingness to tackle every aspect of the business with a hands-on approach and a positive attitude;
- Passion, energy and enthusiasm and a proven track record of leading, motivating and growing successful and loyal teams.
